TrackyTrade works with NinjaTrader 8. Your NT account must be connected to a live or simulated data feed. Paper trading accounts are fully supported.

Compatible with Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, Take Profit Trader, Lucid, and all other NT8-based prop firms.
AI Features (Optional)
AI trade reviews require your own Anthropic API key from console.anthropic.com. There is no additional charge through TrackyTrade.
Download & Install
Download the installer
Go to trackytrade.com/download and download the latest TrackyTrade-Setup.exe.
Run the installer
Double-click the installer and follow the prompts. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning — click More info → Run anyway. TrackyTrade is safe; Windows flags new software that hasn't yet built a reputation score.
Launch TrackyTrade
TrackyTrade will appear in your Start Menu and desktop. Open it — you'll see the activation screen on first launch.
Activate Your Subscription
Subscribe at trackytrade.com
If you haven't already, visit trackytrade.com/pricing and choose a plan. Complete the checkout — you'll receive a confirmation email with your subscription email address.
Enter your email in the app
On the TrackyTrade activation screen, enter the email address you used to subscribe. This is how the app verifies your subscription.
Click Activate
TrackyTrade checks your subscription in real time. Once verified, the app unlocks immediately. Your subscription status is re-checked once every 24 hours when you open the app.
NinjaTrader Setup
TrackyTrade uses a NinjaTrader indicator called TrackyTradeSync to capture your trades in real time. You only need to install it once.
Close NinjaTrader completely
Make sure NinjaTrader is fully closed before installing — including the system tray icon.
Download TrackyTradeSync
Download TrackyTradeSync.zip from trackytrade.com/download or from your welcome email.
Install the indicator
Double-click the .zip file — NinjaTrader will auto-detect and install it. Reopen NinjaTrader when the installation completes.
Confirm installation
In NinjaTrader, go to Tools → Indicators and search for TrackyTradeSync. It should appear in the list.
Setting Up Your Charts
TrackyTradeSync must be applied to a 1-minute chart for each instrument you trade. This is how TrackyTrade captures bar data for your trade review charts.
Option A — Use the chart template Recommended
Download the chart template
Download TrackyTradeSync_1min.ntcht from trackytrade.com/download.
Open a chart in NinjaTrader
Open a chart for the instrument you trade (e.g. NQ 06-26, ES 06-26).
Load the template
Right-click anywhere on the chart → Templates → Load → select TrackyTradeSync_1min.ntcht.
The chart will switch to 1-minute bars with TrackyTradeSync applied automatically.
Repeat for each instrument
You need one 1-minute chart per instrument. If you trade NQ and ES, open an NQ chart and an ES chart, and apply the template to each.
Option B — Manual setup
Set chart to 1-minute bars
Open a chart → Right-click → Properties → Set type to Candlestick, period to Minute, value to 1.
Add the indicator
Right-click the chart → Indicators → find TrackyTradeSync → double-click to add → click OK.
TrackyTradeSync only syncs while its chart is open in NinjaTrader. Charts can be minimized — they don't need to be visible — but they must be open and connected to data. Save your workspace so they reopen automatically on next launch.
Verify the Connection
Open TrackyTrade
Make sure NinjaTrader is running with your 1-minute charts open.
Check the sync status
Look at the top left of the app — you should see ● LIVE — Syncing trades. This confirms TrackyTrade is connected to NinjaTrader and receiving data.
Check the Calendar tab
Your recent trades should appear on the Calendar within a few seconds of being executed. Past trades sync on first connection.
Using the App
Calendar
Your home screen. Every trading day shows total P&L, trade count, and which instruments you traded. Click any day to expand your full trade list. Green days are profitable, red days are losses.
Analytics
17 sections of performance data — equity curve, P&L by symbol, win rate, time of day analysis, day of week breakdown, consistency score, and your Tilt Detective behavioral score.
Accounts
Tracks your prop firm rules automatically. See your current drawdown buffer, daily loss limit, and progress toward payout — calculated live from your trade data.
Favorites
Save your best and worst trades for review. Favorites store the full chart replay so you can study your exact entry and exit in context.
Trade Review
Click REVIEW on any trade to open a full chart popout with 1-minute to daily timeframes, entry and exit arrows, indicators, and AI coaching feedback.
Expense Report
Track your eval fees, PA fees, and gross P&L across every account. Export as PDF or CSV. See your true net P&L after all prop firm costs.
AI Trade Reviews
TrackyTrade's AI coaching uses Claude (by Anthropic) to review each trade — analyzing your entry, exit, timing, and context to give you specific, actionable feedback. You use your own API key so there are no additional charges through TrackyTrade.
Get an Anthropic API key
Go to console.anthropic.com → sign up → API Keys → Create Key. Copy the key.
Add your key to TrackyTrade
In TrackyTrade, open ⚙ Menu → Settings → AI and paste your API key. It's stored locally on your machine only.
Review a trade
Click REVIEW on any trade → click AI Review in the chart popout. The review appears in seconds with a scorecard, analysis, coaching notes, and action items.
Troubleshooting
Documents → TrackyTrade → NinjaTrader. If that folder doesn't exist, TrackyTrade can't connect. Try removing and re-adding the indicator to the chart.Supported Instruments
TrackyTrade supports all NinjaTrader 8 futures instruments. You need one 1-minute chart with TrackyTradeSync for each instrument you trade.
